As Chairman of the Board at Huduma Credit, I lead efforts to provide financial services to underserved public transport operators, supporting sustainable transport systems vital to community economic growth. I developed a long-term strategic plan driving our growth over the past two years, worked with the executive team to set performance targets, ensure regulatory compliance, and evaluate acquisition opportunities. I also helped shape our sustainability strategy, now a key industry differentiator. Huduma Insurance currently operates in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania.

As Chairman of Betgr8 Corporation, I provide strategic leadership, oversee governance and risk management, and have driven growth and profitability through a successful strategic plan that boosted revenue. I implemented best practices in governance, reduced risk exposure, and established a new framework to enhance compliance, stakeholder engagement, and trust. By fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, we achieved multiple successful product launches. Betgr8 now operates in 16 African countries.

With the PSP license officially acquired from the Central Bank, we are now fully authorized to operate, enabling us to provide secure, compliant, and innovative payment solutions across the region.

From September 2009

I oversee safe, reliable, and sustainable public transport in Kenya, backed by 14+ years of experience and a strong track record in innovation and service improvement. I led key initiatives like the BRT system to decongest Nairobi and introduced contactless payments, route planning, and integrated fare systems—boosting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. I guided SACCO Directors in developing a transformative strategic plan and was re-elected twice, now serving a third term. Appointed by the president, I serve as Vice Chair of NAMATA and Nairobi County Transport Advisor, engaging closely with government, industry, and community stakeholders.

Electric bike financing

From August 2025

I have employed more than 400 people across Africa. Currently, we're operating in Kenya. Here, I have financed over 12,000 electric bikes for the youth. This has been made possible by allowing them to acquire the bikes through small deposit payments.
